About Our Organization
Samuga Otrumaikkana Illam (சமூக ஒற்றுமைக்கான இல்லம்) is a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to uplift rural communities.
Our Story and Origins
Founded in the wake of decades of conflict and environmental challenges, Samuga Otrumaikkana Illam was established with a singular vision: to build self-reliant communities across the Northern and Eastern Provinces of Sri Lanka.
Beginning with a small team of volunteers conducting basic educational assistance in Jaffna, the organization has grown to operate permanent training centers, clean water networks, and livelihood cooperatives in Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, and Ampara. We operate at the grassroots level, partnering directly with village development committees to ensure all projects are self-sustaining and tailored to local needs.

சமூக ஒற்றுமைக்கான இல்லம் என்னும் தன்னார்வத் தொண்டு நிறுவனமானது இலங்கைத் தமிழர் தாயகத்தில் பொருளாதார ரீதியாக பின் தங்கிய மக்களை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான தொழில் வழிகாட்டலை இலக்காகக் கொண்டு இயங்கிவருகின்றது. இந் நிறுவனம் செயற்பாட்டிற்கான நிதி மூலமானது புலம்பெயர்நாடுகளில் வாழும் மக்கள், நலன்விரும்பிகள், வர்த்தகர்கள் ஆகியோர்களிடமிருந்து உதவிகளைப் பெற்று இயங்குகிறது.
தார நோக்கு
அடிப்படை வசதிகளற்ற மக்களின் தனிநிரைவு பொருளாதாரத்தை வளர்க்கும் நோக்கில் தொழில் வழிகாட்டி இலட்சிய சமூகப் பொருளாதாரத்தை மேம்படுத்தல்.
பணிக்கூற்று
கிராமங்கள் தோறும் நிலைத்திருந்து எளிமையான தொழில் வழிகாட்டல் முறைமையொன்றை உருவாக்குவதன் மூலம் மக்களிடையேயான பொருளாதார மேம்பாடு குறித்த சமத்துவத்தை மலரச் செய்தல்.
